Welcome to Quiz Notes. By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who we are

Quiz Notes is operated by MWG Media Group. Contact: support@quiznotes.app.

2. What Quiz Notes is for

Quiz Notes is a study tool. It helps you turn class recordings and textbook scans into summaries, audio recaps, and practice questions. It is not a replacement for going to class, doing your own reading, or academic guidance from your instructor.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Quiz Notes only for material you have a legal right to use, which includes:

• Lectures you recorded yourself, with permission required by your institution or local law
• Textbooks you own or have licensed access to
• Course materials you are authorized to study

You agree not to:

• Record people without consent where required
• Use Quiz Notes to redistribute copyrighted material
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the analysis service
• Use Quiz Notes to facilitate academic dishonesty

4. Subscriptions

Premium features are unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. The 7-day free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; we do not issue prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period (Apple may, at their discretion).

Subscription pricing and offers may change. Existing subscribers keep their current rate until they cancel or change plans.

5. Content ownership

You own everything you create with Quiz Notes — your recordings, your notes, your quizzes. We don't claim any right to your content. The app itself, the brand, and our infrastructure remain our property.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Summaries, quizzes, and audio recaps are generated by AI. They can contain mistakes, miss important context, or misinterpret your lecturer's emphasis. Quiz Notes is a study aid, not a source of truth. Always cross-reference with your actual class materials before relying on AI-generated content for an exam.

7. Service availability

We try to keep the app and its analysis service running, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be unavailable during updates, outages, or maintenance. Quiz Notes is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, MWG Media Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Quiz Notes. Our total liability for any direct claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Quiz Notes at any time by deleting the app. We can terminate or restrict your access if you materially violate these Terms, primarily to protect other users and our service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll announce material changes in-app or by email. Continuing to use Quiz Notes after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where MWG Media Group is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
